Ericka So - Executive Reporter
Ericka So always knew she wanted to pursue a career in broadcast journalism. With a love for performing and a unique ability to talk too much, this Southern California native joined the AggieTV team in 2007.
Although Ericka's primary interest was to be in front of the camera, she has experience filming, editing, technical directing, and directing. As an intern for the Segundo Media Resource Center (MRC), Ericka has had the opportunity to direct her very own live show.
In addition to AggieTV and the MRC, Ericka devotes the rest of her time between dancing as a member of MK Modern, and working as an Event Staff Technician at the UC Davis Arts and Recreation Center.
Her addiction to keeping busy has led her to accumulate a diverse list of activities and hobbies. Her past affiliations and activities include volleyball, cheerleading, figure skating, flute, dancing, acting, singing, Golden State Figure Skating Association (GSFSA), Model United Nations (MUN), Masquerade Club, the International Thespian Society, and Key Club.
Currently, Ericka is an intern for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's Newsroom at the capitol.
She hopes to utilize her skills and experiences to one day change the statistics of Asian American females in the media industry as well as become the next Barbara Walters.
